THE LORD OF THE RINGS

THE MUSICAL SPECTACULAR

Capturing the magic of J.R.R. Tolkien's epic trilogy in a musical adaptation on stage...surely an impossible challenge? Matthew Warchus' 'hugely impressive production' (The Guardian), has dazzled critics and audiences with it's combination of spectacular effects, powerful story-telling and a ravishing musical score by A.R.Rahman, the Finnish group Varttina and Christopher Nightingale.

The Theatre Royal Drury Lane has been transformed into Middle-earth with an awe-inspiring, mystical set that creeps into the auditorium as friendly hobbits and terrifying orcs roam the aisles. Extraordinary special effects leave you breathless as an unforgettable musical score and moving, heartfelt performances transport you straight to the core of Tolkien's fantastical universe, sweeping you along on Frodo and Sam's incredible journey from the idyllic, peaceful Shire, to the dark depths of Mordor in their quest to destroy the Ring and save Middle-earth.

From 15 mins before the performance there is a 'pre show' in the auditorium so arrive early!

Please Note: The performance contains strobe lighting
